What !!! Rotarians at V Festival ! Six members of the club volunteered to help collect unwanted tents, chairs, sleeping bags, air beds, wellington boots and anything else found in good condition following the V Festival at Weston Park, Staffordshire in August. It was a real "eye opener for the new recruits to the club but they enjoyed the experience in the knowledge that their hard work would eventually benefit those in need of shelter. New President and Service of Dedication Frank Finlay took over the chains of office of President with his wife Jean, taking on the role of President of Inner Wheel in June 2011. Over 80 friends and family enjoyed a wonderful service of Dedication at Brocton Church, followed by lunch at Brocton Village Hall. The collection raised 'What We Do' Main Pages: 
Over the last two years members and friends of Rotary have supported our Buddy Bag Challenge. We have now filled over 200 bags which have been donated to Refuges in Staffordshire and the West Midlands. more

Another successful event was held in July 2022. Members and friends of Rotary enjoyed looking at the wonderful selection of classic cars, motor bikes and tractors. The next Rotary Wheels will be held on 13th July 2023 more |
