The key role of the Communications Committee is to develop the way the Club communicates both internally with our fellow-Rotarians and externally with the general public who wish to find more information about the Role the Club.
As with any organisation, Communications is a vital part of providing information for all Rotarians and in today's modern world the use of technology plays a significant role in way we communicate.
The key role of the Communications Committee is to develop and improve the way the Club communicates both internally with our fellow-Rotarians and externally with the general public who wish to find more information about the Role of Rotary.
The Committee have a number of key priorities to consider which include:
- Maintaining the Club Web Site
- Issuing a monthly Club Bulletin
- Maintaining the Club Diary and distributing it to Committee Chairmen
- Developing the Press and Media profile of the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury

The aim of the Community Service Committee is to give assistance to local organisations or individuals with a need; this may be in the form of financial assistance or physical help.
