Champions of Change 2016-17
Patricia Hoggarth receives a Champion of Change award in April 2017 from Lord William Hague, one of only 12 granted each year by RIBI.
Patricia Hoggarth receives a Champion of Change award on behalf of the club for our Phillipines project. A £5,000 collection in Workington town centre for survivors of Typhoon Haiwan was increased massively by Rotary matching grants and help from other Rotary clubs at home and abroad to enable 80 motorised fishing boats to be presented to fishermen and their families.
