Ronnie Kemp Rides from Tower to Tower

Ronnie wanted to raise money to help build the Lego Darwen Tower by cycling from Blackpool Tower to Darwen Tower then to Darwen Market and the Logo Tower

Cycling enthusiast Ronnie Kemp put pedal power behind efforts to raise money by building Darwen's second Jubilee Tower out of Lego Bricks.

Ronnie rode from Blackpool Tower via Preston Docks and Abbey Village before ascending to Darwen Tower over 1200 ft. up on the top of the moors.  The Tower was built to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and opened to the public in 1898.

He then descended to Darwen and finished in the Market Hall where the replica tower is taking shape.
