Teachers and Rotarians gathered to hear about the Rotakids movement at a meeting hosted by our club. Members of Rotary clubs in Darwen, Church and Oswaldtwistle and Blackburn heard from Margaret Lund, Rotary District 1190 Co-ordianator for Rotakids, which is aimed at primary school children with a view of involving them in national and international projects such as filling shoe boxes with essential items to be sent to areas where there has been devastation. Teachers from Darwen and Church and Oswaldtwistle schools attended the event at the Old Function Room, Watery Lane, Darwen.
