How to become a Rotarian
If you live or work in the area and would like to make a difference to the community, Rotary may be the way forward for you. We welcome both men and women from all backgrounds who are keen to make a difference in their community and to have fun at the same time.
If Rotary sounds like the organisation for you, we'd like to hear from you! Simply send an email using the link at the bottom of this page, telling us how you found out about Rotary and giving your name, address and we will contact you to answer all the questions you have.
If you join Rotary, you can be sure that the enormous sense of achievement that you'll experience helping your local community - and even communities around the world - will be matched only by the fun that you'll have doing it!
Our club has ambitious plans, so we're looking for more men and women to bring their energy, enthusiasm, business and other skills and sense of humour to make a real difference to the lives of others.
Every Rotary club has a different 'personality' and offers a different range of benefits, so why not come along to one of our meetings to meet our members and see how the club operates. You will be made very welcome. If you then feel that Darwen Rotary is not for you, we can point you to other clubs in the area that you may like to look at.
We know that there are some misconceptions about Rotary, so to hear what 'ordinary' members of Rotary clubs have to say about this extraordinary organisation and what being part of it means to them, please click this video link Real Rotarians
