The International charities and projects we support
We have supported many International projects including the water project in Monze, Zambia. We are keen supporters on ShelterBox and the disaster relief actions and have recently completed the sponsorship of a young lady through school & college with the help of Education For All in Morocco.
We are also generous contributors to Rotary's own charity - The Rotary Foundation, which supports many global projects including the eradication of Polio whith its End Polio Now campaign.

The Border is the monthly magazine of The Rotary Club of Carlisle. It contains news, reports of past events and the whole of our future programme.

For all but one of meetings each month, we welcome a speaker to inform and/or entertain us. Some are from external organisations and occasionally one of our own members takes the 'stage'.
