Enjoying Fellowship with Our Neighbouring Rotary Clubs

Over the summer, members of our club enjoyed two excellent social events hosted by neighbouring Rotary clubs, providing wonderful opportunities for fellowship, friendship, and a bit of friendly competition.

Our first outing was to the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside's BBQ social at the Royal Dyche pub. Set in the pub's attractive beer garden, the evening offered great food, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere. Members enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new connections while sampling a delicious barbecue. The music backdrop to the evening was an informal jam session, which added to the lively and welcoming spirit of the event and kept everyone entertained well into the evening.

The second event saw us joining the Rotary Club of Padiham for their annual bowling event. While our team did not win this year, we certainly had plenty of fun trying! The games were played in great spirits, with lots of laughter, encouragement, and friendly rivalry throughout the evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships between our clubs and enjoy some healthy competition.

Many thanks to both clubs for their warm hospitality and for organising such enjoyable events. We look forward to joining them again in the future.
