QHS sustainable garden

Queensferry High School sustainable garden

Our environmental team have been busy over the Winter months helping Queensferry High School build their new sustainable garden . The garden will comprise various raised beds and herb beds which will enable the pupils  to develop their horticultural skills including vegetable and herb growing .

Phase 1 was the erection of a perimeter fence. The next phase will involve the building of numerous raised beds and in due course a composting area, and a pergola and seating area.

This is a significant project but we hope to have the raised beds completed in time for Spring planting and sowing.
