Queensferry Rotary also received greetings and news from Dr Pota Kalima who is leading the Nalola Royal Health Community Initiative for a new clinic in an inaccessible part of Zambia. The Rotary Club sponsors this very worthwhile project. Dr Kalima said:
' As the year draws to a close, we too have good reason to have a wee cheer. The construction of the main clinic buildings, toilets and septic tank is complete. Rough casting, fittings, plumbing and painting have yet to be done. The local council drilled a borehole. To say the building has attracted attention is an understatement. The local chief has paid a visit and on the anniversary of Her Royal Highness's coronation, many government officials and local politicians took the opportunity to see the clinic close up.'
Queensferry Rotary is proud to have helped to make this project possible. An example of Rotary in action in difficult times.
