On Monday, 14 March 2022, the Oswestry Rotary Club members were well entertained by the after dinner Guest Speaker, the Reverend Adrian Bailey, in an unexpected manner.
Anticipating an ecclesiatical address,
Reverend Adrian surprised everyone with a lovely, moving story of his own
making that he delivered in a totally professional manner.
This
short story was centred around Petersham Nursery in a quirky way
throughout that gradually developed into a reflection on World War 2 but
finished absolutely up to date drawing an inspired comparison with the
current invasion of Ukraine.
