RotaKids - This is a bundle of fun for 7 to 12 years olds with energy, enthusiasm and great ideas for making a difference. RotaKids are based in primary and junior schools and work with local Rotary clubs to come up with projects which could be anything from fundraisers to sponsored events.
For information, please see: http://www.ribi.org/about-us/clubs-and-members/rotakids
The first RotaKids club chartered in District 1180 - the RotaKids club of Neston Primary School - was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Neston. A second, also at Neston - Woodfall Primary School - then followed.
Neston then established a third - the Rotakids Club of Parkgate Primary School with 32 members! Already straight into fund raising at the cakes/coffee morning after the inaugral charter meeting!
District 1180 as of October 2014, District 1180 now has 4 RotaKids clubs - the 4th being at Newtown.
Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Neston for this achievement!
Rtn Steve Martin (Neston) is pleased to offer advice to any Club thinking of following Neston's example.
RotaKids is a great way of engaging with young people, who, full of enthusiasm, provide great service to their communities.
