THE ROTARY CLUB OF OSWESTRY has recently announced that the beneficiaries of its annual Tree of Light appeal will include Hope House, Air Ambulance, Cricket Federation for People with Disabilities and North Shropshire Special Olympics as well as other Rotary good causes.
The lights will be switched on outside St Oswald's Parish Church by local MP Owen Paterson at an event starting at 6 pm on Friday 27th November. There will be carol singing and the Sabrina brass band. Soup will be served at about 6:30.
Club President Viv Jones said "We hope many people will turn up to this event to give a good start to this annual appeal. We are pleased to be nominating these four very deserving charities again this year
