SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

We have presented Youth Speaks competitions for many years.
We support an Interact Club at Woodchurch High School and a Rotakids Club at Prenton Primary School.

The Wirral Grammar School for Boys Youth Speaks senior team winners, in the Birkenhead Rotary Competition. Both this team and the Birkenhead School Intermediate team winners head for the District final soon.

Birkenhead Rotary Club commemorated its 90th year in 2018-19- by launching an appeal to purchase a minibus for Shaftesbury Youth Club. Together with Foundation support and other donations, the Club was able to present £14,000.

We continue support for Shaftesbury Youth Club and welcome matching grants via Rotary Foundation, Rotary's charity that we support annually.
