Rotary Friendship Exchange

PLEASE READ AND RESPOND!

Our most recent exchange was with District 2395 in Sweden during May 2026. Contact me if you would like to be involved in Rotary Friendship Exchange. I could do with some help in planning these events.

I am looking for members who would like to host a couple from Sweden for about 3 days when they come to visit our district in late August/early September 2026. I have volunteers from Liverpool and the Wirral, the Oswestry area and Cheshire but I need more in Cheshire and Oswestry if we are to host in those areas.

'What We Do' Main Pages:

The Wirral Grammar School for Boys Youth Speaks senior team winners, in the Birkenhead Rotary Competition. Both this team and the Birkenhead School Intermediate team winners head for the District final soon.

We have presented Youth Speaks competitions for many years. We support an Interact Club at Woodchurch High School and a Rotakids Club at Prenton Primary School.

Birkenhead Rotary Club commemorated its 90th year in 2018-19- by launching an appeal to purchase a minibus for Shaftesbury Youth Club. Together with Foundation support and other donations, the Club was able to present £14,000.

We continue support for Shaftesbury Youth Club and welcome matching grants via Rotary Foundation, Rotary's charity that we support annually.
