DONATION TO SHELTERBOX 2022

"President Carmen Thomas and International Chair, David Watson, were welcomed at the Truro Headquarters of ShelterBox, (founded by a Helston Rotarian), when a cheque for £850 was presented. They were shown around a room with examples of tents and wooden structures and accompanying pots, pans, blankets etc which are sent to assist those who have lost everything due to war or natural disasters. Much needed relief is provided in various countries eg Haiti, Ethiopia, Burkino Faso, Syria among other areas.

St Ives Rotary has supported Shelterbox with donations over the years amounting to £24,000!"
