Plympton Rotary Club are holding a Burns Night Dinner at Boringdon Park Golf Club. more details to follow


Join Plympton Rotary Club at Boringdon Park Golf Club on Saturday 24th January 2026 for a wonderful Burns Night celebration, an evening of traditional food, dance and poetic delight.

The evening hopes to raise funds for the Chestnut Appeal, an incredible charity that provides help and support for men facing a Prostate Cancer diagnosis.

Adult-only tickets cost £47.50 per person and include a three-course traditional Scottish menu intertwined with the Piping of the Haggis and poetry readings, before a live band so you can dance the night away.

Doors open from 6.30pm to midnight (last orders at 11.30pm). Formal attire or traditional Scottish dress is strongly encouraged.

Starters

  • Leek and Potato Soup
  • Cock A Leekie Soup

Mains

  • Haggis, Neeps and Tatties served with crisp pancetta and a pepper sauce
  • Chicken Supreme served with wild mushrooms and a tarragon sauce
  • Pea and Mint Risotto (V) served with saffron oil, a Parmesan crisp and pea shoots

Dessert

  • Cranachan
  • Fruit Salad and Clotted Cream
