Former club member (and Rotary End Polio Now supporter) Antony Jinman has reached the South Pole, his lead sponsor has confirmed.
Plymouth University reported that the city explorer has completed his 730-mile solo trek.
The milestone comes 102 years exactly after Antony's hero, city great Captain Robert Falcon Scott and his team achieved the feat in tragic circumstances.
Fellow Rotary End Polio supporter Ruta Meilutyte has also been crowned The Herald Sports Personality of the Year 2013
