Following our Skittles victory against Perranzabuloe in December, an unchanged team of six from Penzance travelled to Helston to play Cober Valley in the Rotary District 1175 Skittles Tournament. Penzance raced to a 12 point lead but the Spingo was kicking in and the pasties at half time re- invigorated Cober Valley who turned things around to win by 4 points. Never mind, it was a most enjoyable and sociable evening for which we thank our hosts. There is always next time!
more Making use of a fifth Friday in the month, the Club held an evening supper with a talk to accompany a Slide Show with around 100 photographs of Old Penzance.
more Members and family enjoyed some late summer sunshine near Sancreed at the weekend. For most, Tanglewood was a previously unexplored delight, with its picnic areas, lakes and paths and myriad of quirky features. A 'must visit' for young families.
more A small group of Penzance Rotary Club members and partners enjoyed Keith Pearce's fascinating insight into the history of what is considered to be the best preserved Georgian Jewish Cemetery outside London.
back The club enjoys quarterly social evenings like Pub Quizes, Ten Pin Bowling, Barbeques, Fish & Chip Suppers or other activities with a focus on socialising.
