Another recent donation was to MusicAbility. This organisation embraces the unique and life-enhancing potential of music to stimulate a broad spectrum of educational, creative and health benefits within the community. The group's mission is to use music as a catalyst for the development of personal abilities, cultural awareness and participation whilst generating social, psychological and physical integration. Penzance and West Penwith is a focus for much of the group’s work.
"Please could you pass on our heartfelt thanks to the Penzance Rotarians
for their support in purchasing wonderful instruments for MusicAbility's music
therapy programme. They have been put to instant use and enjoyed by a number of
clients with special needs. All are very grateful and staff are aware
that you have provided the funds for them".
With all good wishes,
Ruth Boulton - Director, MusicAbility CIC and HCPC registered music therapist.
