For ten years, the Rotary Ramble on the last Sunday every September enabled local people of all ages to raise funds for their own chosen club or charity! Walkers retained 75% of the sponsorship money that they raised and donated it to the community group or charity of their chouce. The remaining 25% was collected in by Rotary who donated it to different charities selected each year. Between 2008 and 2017, the Rotary Ramble raised in excess of £75,000 for good causes.
Proceeds from the Rotary Club's Wishing Well at Lands End are collected regularly from the bottom of the Wishing Well and distributed to causes supported by Rotary including Local Charities.
To everyone who has contributed. Thank You, indeed Well done!
more Donations of £700 for each of two charities were made possible in early March 2015 as a result of the tremendous amount of sponsorship raised by last September's Rotary Ramble participants.
