A Day of Sunshine and Smiles
On a beautiful summer’s day, the Treneere Team Spirit Fun Day brought together around 150 local residents for an afternoon of laughter, games, and community connection. Thanks to funding support from Rotary, the event was able to provide free activities, refreshments, and entertainment for families across the estate, proving once again how grassroots partnerships can make a real difference.
From face painting and games to music and shared meals, the event was filled with smiles and laughter. As one child summed it up simply: “It’s the best day ever!”
The Treneere Team Spirit initiative continues to grow as a beacon of local pride and collaboration. Its volunteers regularly organise community clean‑ups, garden projects, and family events, all aimed at strengthening neighbourly ties and improving the environment around Treneere.
This partnership between Rotary and Treneere Team Spirit shows how small grants can have a big impact, turning good intentions into joyful, lasting memories for the whole community.
