Pop up food hubs

The Rotary Club of Okehampton have partnered with Devon and Cornwall Food Action (DCFA) to run monthly pop up food hubs at the Okehampton Rugby Club.

The hubs are aimed at preventing perfectly good food being sent to landfill and are open to all.

Supporters register for a time slot prior to the event, pay £30 and take away a trolley full of food and provisions worth between £120 to £150.

Grateful thanks go to Devon and Cornwall Food Action, Okehampton Rugby Club for the use of their facilities, Waitrose for the loan of shopping trolleys, all of the volunteers from DCFA, Okehampton Rotary Club, Hatherleigh Rotary Club and friend of the both clubs and finally all of the people that support the hubs.
