Swimmathon 2026

The annual Swimmathon was held on Saturday 1st August with the kind permission Rotarian David Grose of the Thurlestone Hotel at the Hotel outdoor swimming pool. The proceeds from the sponsored swimmers is being donated to St Luke's Hospice with a Raffle also taking place to raise funds to enable the Club to provide help to the various requests received for aid from local good causes. A successful event with not only sponsorship from those who were swimming but also from some of the hotel guests who made generous donations.

A total of £1263.50. was raised by the swimmers for St Luke's Hospice and a further £125 from the raffle goes into the pot to enable the club to provide for worthy local requests for help.

Our grateful thanks not only to those taking part but also to the hotel staff who were on hand to ensure our needs were met throughout the event.
