The Rotary Club of Cheadle Royal has been active in the local community for over 77 years, providing service and support to the young and not-so-young, and helping the less fortunate both here at home and abroad.
We are a Rotary Club with an open door to any and all ideas which may assist in improving the life of an individual or group.
Our on-going projects include:
Ghana 'Liquid Soap Project'
Ghana 'Walk for Water' Initiative
Support for local 'St Anne's Hospice', 'East Cheshire Hospice' and The Seashell Trust
Ringway Visitor Centre - under Concorde Christmas Market Fair with Santas,Games & Tombolas.
Christmas Collections at local supermarkets
Ringway Visitor Centre - Summer Vintage Car Family fun Day 'Icons of the Road'
Local Handforth Park - planting of two avenues of pink Cherry Trees to be enjoyed for many years to come
Raising funds for Rotary Foundation towards the Eradication of Polio
Raising funds to supporting the work of Disaster Aid UK in providing emergency boxes in disaster areas overseas following earthquakes, floods etc. http://disasteraiduk.org
