Rotary is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
DetailsThe Club was founded in October 1921 and was granted a Charter
in December of that year. Our Club has a great tradition and pedigree and we can justifiably be proud of what we have and continue to achieve locally and
internationally.
Annually we fundraise to help local Scarborough charities.
Principal Projects at present time;
• Annual Carers’ Holiday
• Annual Santa Collection
• Annual Christmas Toy Appeal
Fun and fellowship with monies raised going to help local charities working to improve the mental health of our town.
All events will be open to everyone, whether Rotary members or not with an emphasis on fun.
Whilst our Club is one which does things to help those who need help both in our local community and elsewhere, we have created an environment where friendships are forged and where we enjoy ourselves in a social way.
DetailsRotary believes in developing the next generation of leaders. Our programs help younger leaders build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service.

“I’m honoured to taking up the role of President of the Rotary Club of Scarborough and I hope over the coming year to make a difference in my club and my town.
The main theme of my year will be fundraising through fun and fellowship with monies raised going to help local charities working to improve the mental health of our town.
All events will be open to everyone, whether Rotary members or not with an emphasis on fun. I hope to see as many of you as possible over the year, with a smile on your face”.
