A well attended meeting at the Rose and Crown included a detailed presentation by Tony Hawkins, supported by Jane Pennington of The Yealm Estuary to Moor Project (YEM).   YEM  is working towards an unobstructed and pollution-free river, helping fish and other aquatic life to flourish. Tony introduced the findings and initiatives, so far, of the ongoing volunteer-led analysis into water quality and environmental issues affecting the River Yealm and its tributaries.
