'Light Up A Child's Life' Solar Light Project
We are raising funds to purchase solar lights for children that attend a charity school near Mombasa, Kenya.
These children are living without electrical light which can impact their studying, getting un/dressed. We can change this.

Rotary has been active in Godalming for over 80 years, contributing greatly to local community life.

The Rotary Club of Godalming meets Tuesday lunchtimes.

The Rotary Club of Godalming Woolsack meets Monday evenings.

A joint breakfast meeting is held monthly on the 3rd Friday.
Both clubs welcome men and women who want to make a difference locally and globally. Together, they support major international campaigns like End Polio Now and ShelterBox. Thanks to Rotary’s efforts, polio is nearly eradicated worldwide. ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and supplies for families affected by disasters.
Locally, both clubs support charities such as:

Samson Centre (supporting people with MS)

Skillway (training and mentoring teenagers)

The Meath, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Waverley CAB, and Hydon Hill
Rotarians also help at local events such as town festivals, fireworks nights, and Live Local Love Winkworth Day. We encourage youth involvement through competitions like Young Chef, Youth Debate, and Young Musician.
Our social programme includes exchanges with our twin club in Aire-sur-la-Lys, France.
