Quiz Night (Uganda Project)
A Quiz Night and wine tasting to raise funds for a school building project in Uganda organised by the Uphill Trust. Other activities, fundraising by the charity and a Rotary district helped to raise the sum of £4500.

We celebrated Burns in our own way with contributions from guests and members. Rhona was presented with a deserved Paul Harris Fellowship and a club citation award for club achievements in 22-23. A most enjoyable evening.

7 groups of S2 pupils at Kilsyth Academy representing different local charities research and presented their case in front of a judging panel. Winners this year was a group making the case for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Care.

On Call Africa has a new ambulance. Money was raised by Kilsyth club with assistance from other clubs in the district and funding through Rotary Foundations grants. The new off-road vehicle has arrived in Zambia and is already in action.

Charity Golf Tournament
The club organised its first ever Charity Golf tournament held on Friday June 5 at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club. Monies raised will be directed to Rotary Foundation and End Polio Now. There was a good response with over 20 teams participating.

Kilsyth Rotarians were out in numbers for the Civic Week Gala Day. Our plant stall sold a variety of bedding and hanging basket plants and , for the first time, we operated a successful tea room in Burngreen Hall.
