Albyn School celebrates Shoe Box achievement

Since 2008 Albyn Lower School have filled and donated 1,500 shoe boxes through the Rotary Shoebox Programme. At a special assembly on 28 April 2014, IPP John Milne talked about the impact of shoeboxes and President Gavin McEwen presented a ceritificate.

Sidmouth Lifeboat Round Britain Cycle

Six Sidmouth Lifeboatmen are cycling in relay round Britain to raise money for new lifeboat. Rotary clubs around Britain are supporting them by providing accommodation en route. Our Club hosted them at the end of a long cycle from Berwick on Tweed.

World Curling in Aberdeen

The World Rotary Curling Championships were held in Aberdeen from 29 March to 4 April 2014. Our members helped with driving and hosting and Dave Peters served on the organising committee and played for the Lockerbie Team in the Friendship Challenge.
