Congratulation to everyone who made this event a great success - In addition to great fun and a tasty buffet. Over £870 was raised to support our Rotary Foundation charities. Well done everyone

Following on from The Cherry Trees themed food evening with a quiz afterward - Rotary members will look forward to enjoying some Italian cuisine and also taking part in the quiz.

President Stuart will issue and agenda for this workshop meeting to review the action plan for this year's forthcoming Beer and Music Festival

Following the success of the Christmas Street collections were over £2000 was raised for East Anglian Air Ambulance MAGPAS. Emma Sanders will join Club members to receive the donation and share an update regarding the charity

We look forward to supporting the Cherry Tree with its themed food night and Quiz - tonight it's Sausage Night and a great selection will be on offer. A team of 6 members will also enter the quiz defending the win of last month !!

Members look forward to welcoming our District Governor, Ian Graham. Ian is a member of Norwich Blackfriars Breakfast Club, retired after 38 years in the RAF and very involved with supporting needy children in Kenya.

Members will be recognising the Scottish Bard with some well chosen words and a bit of haggis, neeps and tatties on the side. Guests most welcome - Rtn Geoff will be circulating details

Steve's guest will be Matthew Galvin. He is a young man (15) who has been selected for a volunteering expedition Thailand in 2026. He has to raise £4000 by various means. His mum, Natasha, will join us as we hear about this challenge

Wed 16th October 2024 Fill Your Plate for Polio - 16th Oct

Rtn Steve will be pulling together a buffet evening at the local Indian Restaurant - The Ali Taj, where we will be doing several activities to raise funds to continue helping this Global Rotary initiative.World Polio Day is 24th October.

Treasurer Stuart will take members through the accounts for 2023-24 and the forward projection of budgeted costs. We will also be holding our regular business meeting.

Pres Stuart, in one of his first duties of the Rotary Year, has inducted new Rotarians, Neil Stittle (L) and Nik Harris. Members welcomed them and wishes them a long and fruitful journey in Rotary.

Due to the unexpected success of the ENGLAND football team and the semifinal clash with The Netherlands falling on our planned meeting - The meeting for this week, 10th July is cancelled

Elly Rotary Clubs will be holding their annual Aquafest event in Jubilee Gardens from 11.30 until 5pm - Soham members will be assisting

Wed 3rd July 2024 Walking in Your Shoes presentation - 3rd July

Pres. Stuart handed £255 to Mike Donahugh. Mike received the amount for the local Dementia charity, Walking in Your Shoes. The money had been raised as Past Pres Steve's nominated Charter Charity. Mike was very appreciative of the support.
