Young Environmentalist

Protecting the planet.

This contest is looking for young people who care about the planet.

Entrants will have the opportunity to present unique solutions to environmental problems, from waste management to climate change, and change how we look at the environment.

Students can enter as a team of 4 (maximum), or as an individual and channel their skills to address some of today's environmental challenges.

Submissions are in project form and must show your ingenious way of tackling the issue set in the brief.

Project work will go through a local club stage first, followed by the district heats and then, if chosen, on to the national final.

Deadline for National Final: 30th April 2024

Age categories

The competition is open to students aged 7 - 17.
