Rota Kids: So How Does It Work?

As part of the chartering all new RotaKids took their pledge. This means they declared commitment to the same values as Rotary and will think of others before themselves.
They will participate enthusiastically in active citizenship to improve the quality of life for their school, local and global communities.

The RotaKids will run their own affairs and decide for themselves, which causes they will support, and how they will do it supported by their Rotarian Mentors.

Alistair McKay from Kintore Rotary who went to watch the children begin their Rotakids adventure said, “the children are impressive, some of them have already thought of projects needing support and ideas of how they can do it. We will do our best to support their efforts”

What have our other RotaKids been up to? Lots and lots!

Canongate School have linked with two smaller schools Dunino with 10 pupils and Kingsbarns with 19 pupils. All RotaKids are fundraising for one charity - Mary's Meals.
