£1400 donated to children's bereavement charity
Children's bereavement charity Wiltshire Treehouse is based in Swindon

The two clubs donated £700 each, the funds having been raised at a Quiz and Ploughman's jointly organised by Rotary and Inner Wheel earlier this year.
Charity Quiz and Ploughman's Supper 2024
Wiltshire Treehouse offers advice for parents and carers, and guidance for schools and local community groups on how to best support their bereaved children. They also provide therapeutic bereavement support programmes.
Wiltshire Treehouse are the Wiltshire Life Awards Charity of the Year 2024.

“From a small start of volunteers and 1 employee on 10 hours a week the charity has grown now supporting over 1000 beneficiaries a year and having a positive impact on over 65,000 children and young people through our work.”
“This December we celebrate our 10th birthday, a huge milestone for the charity. As part of our celebrations, we invite beneficiaries from across the years to get in touch if they would like to share their stories with us, helping the charity give hope to those starting their relationship with grief.”

Rotary’s second major donation, of £208,000, was handed over on 7th July 2021 when local Rotarians visited the Great Western Hospital to view the build progress of the nearly completed radiotherapy unit.

We went to the races in March. It was a meeting with 10 races, 8 riders in each. It wasn’t at Epsom, or Haydock Park, or just up the M4 at Newbury. It was, of all places, in Wanborough Village Hall.
