The Central & East England Youth Speaks final took place on Saturday 23rd March, in the Chiltern Academy, Luton. The Rotary Club of Dunmow and Rotary District 1240 were represented by a Senior Team from Helena Romanes School, Dunmow, debating, 'Should fireworks be banned in the UK?'.
The team of Izzy (Chair), Angus (Proposer) & Molly (Opposer) gave a very confident performance, although sadly they were not the winners on this ocassion. There were three other senior teams in the competition from Luckley House School, St Albans Girls' School and Suffolk One College.
Well done Team Dunmow.
