David Vernon gave a talk on the work of his son as a scenic artist.

Martin Vernon's work was breath taking.  The Rotarian's found if hard to believe these images were all hand painted.

The titles share here include;

Scenery for Totaro at the Barbican, London, RSC.

Wardrobe Props, painted for the "Box of Delights" RSC.

Painting for the family - in Poland
"Tapestry" painted as a tapestry would have taken too long to make, painted for Caerphilly Castle's 800 years anniversary

Stage set for the Russian Ballet, that looks like a dark forest.

Martin has the ability to paint from his imagination.

A most recent commission, that Martin has received, is to paint a tapestry for Pembroke Castle a National Trust property.
