How to become a nett Zero Hero

Treekly District Centenary Challenge

Get fitter and plant trees to offset your club’s carbon footprint.  Treekly has been partnered with RGBI for several years and works closely with the Eden reforestation project.  In this challenge, supported by DG David Kendrick,  your club is invited to enter a team of 5 Rotarians, partners or Friends of the club.  For the entry fee of £100 per team, each team member gets 10 trees planted.  For each day in March 2024, for every team member completing at least 5,000 steps, a tree will be planted, making it possible to plant 200 trees per team.

Assuming the minimum of 20 teams enter, the winning team will receive £200 donated to the Club for environment project work.  A second prize of £100 and third prize of £50  will be similarly donated.  Any surplus generated will raise funds for End Polio Now.

If there is a draw for the number of trees planted, the number of steps will be the decider.  Trees planted by way of regular Treekly subscriptions will not count towards the challenge. To participate enter here by 8th December 2023https://form.jotform.com/RotaryDistrict1070/centenary-treekly-challenge
