Whitehaven Centenary Dinner

Fri, Jul 21st 2023 at 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Some of our members will be attending the Centenary Dinner of our daughter Club, the Rotary Club of Whitehaven

The Rotary Club of Whitehaven was founded 100 years ago, having been sponsored by the Rotary Club of Newcastle upon Tyne

"The parent Club was the Rotary Club of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the inaugural dinner was held on 19th June 1923. Rotarian Leo Reid, President of the Newcastle club attended together with Rotarian J Leadbitter, Secretary of the Tyneside section of Rotary International. Sir John Russell was guest speaker."

Please let Peter know before 1st July if you would like to join them in their celebrations.
