Grantown come 2nd in Area Final

Following their success in the local heat, Grantown came 2nd in the Area Final and will now compete in gthe District Final in Aberdeen

Spey Valley area quiz Grantown on Spey Primary took part in the zone 2 final held and hosted by the Rotary Club of Forres. A total of 8 areas took part with Gordonstone primary winning by a very small margin . Grantown we’re runners up to Gordonstone and now with Gordonstonego forward to the District final to be held in Aberdeen. The support for Grantown was second to none with parents, teacher and members of Spey Valley Rotary all in attendance a great performance we now wish Grantown all the best for the Aberdeen final

Last year the Club purchased a Shelter Box for use wherever in the world it is required so that no family is without shelter after disaster.

This year our Presidents special project is Aquabox

President, Stewart McNeish, hands over a cheque for over £1,500 to the Grantown Highland Hospice Fundraisers which was their share of the monies raised on the day.

2023 Charity Golf Tournament raised over £3,000 split between Highland Hospice and Rotary Causes.
