Results - Yellow Ducks

Over 4,500 Yellow Ducks went into the River and were all retrieved safely - but only 6 could win. More detail will follow in our Social Media and in the Gazette  - but the lucky winners were :

First Prize        £200       Duck  1922   Edward Cannon of Addingham

Second Prize  £100        Duck  2733   Levi Brickles of Otley

Third Prize       £75         Duck  1862   Julie Walker of Devon

Fourth Prize     £50         Duck  1308   Angela Garczynski of Ilkley

Fifth Prize        £50          Duck  1157   Hugh Lambert of Addingham

Sixth prize        £50          Duck  3390   Jude McNeice of Ilkley

Not everyone can win, but we are very grateful to everyone who took a Duck Ticket. This Race alone will raise nearly £8,000 when all the figures are in and will be added to the funds raised by the Business Duck Race.  

The Club will publicise the donations it can make as soon as possible once the full results are known.

Results - Red Ducks Race

All 100 Red Ducks went into the River and were all retrieved safely - but only 3 could win. More detail will follow in our Social Media - but the lucky winners were :

Our First Prize - Duck 022 - 

Jayne Verity (Funeral Directors) of Farsley - a Drinks and Nibbles reception for 25 people in the elegant Ticket Office Bar on Station Plaza (sponsored by the Ticket Office)

Second Prize -  Duck 092 -

Mayfield View Care Home, Lower Railway Road, Ilkley -  an Ilkley Gift Card worth £250 (sponsored by Ilkley BID) 

Third Prize   -  Duck 003 - 

Wilkinsons Butcher, Brook St, Ilkley - two Magnums of Champagne (sponsored by Ilkley Business Forum)

Shop Manager Kate Newton was delighted with third prize. “I am just back from a short holiday,” said Kate “and to find we had won came as big surprise. I haven’t had time to think about how we will use them but they won’t be going in the shop window – we will be drinking them – perhaps at Christmas”. 

Commiserations and Grateful Thanks to the Valiant Losers - we are very grateful to you all. The Business Race alone raised neary £5,000 and will be added to the funds raised by the Yellow Duck Race.
