Spring Charity Walk / Run

Sunday 19 May 2024

Join us for our Spring Charity Walk from Rye, the longer walk (approx. 7 miles) we head out alongside Rye Harbour Nature Reserve towards Rye Harbour village and then follow the footpath alongside the beach, passing the Mary Stanford Lifeboat House before heading back inland, passing by Camber Castle en route back to Rye.    A shorter walk of approx. 4 miles takes you on a shorter circuit through the nature reserve to Camber Castle before returning to Rye.

It’s an opportunity to help keep your body and mind fit and raise money for your own good cause or help us aa a Club to raise monies to support our local community.. Take part as an individual or as part of a team or family group, or just tag along with other walkers.

It is not a race - you go entirely at your own pace.

How much does it cost? – We ask for a donation of £10 for adults or £5 for under 17s, payable on the day. If you are raising money through sponsorship, we will donate 100% of the funds you raise to your chosen good cause.  Just ask your sponsors to fill out one of our sponsorship forms.

Sponsorship – Copies of sponsorship forms are available HERE.

Which charities benefit? - If you do not wish to nominate a charity, we promise to give all funds raised to a whole range of local, national and international charities.  We would be happy to tell you about the causes we support - please just ask us.
