Fellowship. Visit to the Club from 1150 District Governor Wayne Morgan MBE.

This was the third visit to the Club this Rotary year by our District Governor Wayne Morgan MBE from Bridgend Rotary Club. DG Wayne joined in with the fun and fellowship with Abergavenny Rotarians over lunch. He talked to us about current developments in the world of Rotary.

We were also delighted to welcome four prospective members to the Club who had been introduced by our new member Julie Miles from the Abergavenny Women's Institute - Judy Ham, Margaret Poliak, Melanie Davies and Maurice Barnes. Judy and Margaret wish to join the Club straightaway and the Secretary will be sending out a 7 Day notice letter shortly. We will continue discussions with Melanie and Maurice over the coming weeks.

Pictured is DG Wayne on his second visit in August 2022, flanked on the left by the Master Sergeant at Arms and three times Past President Martin Love PHF, and on the right by Robert Parker - President Abergavenny Rotary Club.
