Visit and talk by Mr Tony Konieczny, Mayor of Abergavenny

The Mayor, Mr Tony Konieczny addressed us about the role of the Town Council in the development of Abergavenny, past, present and future, and shared some ideas about how the various statutory and voluntary bodies could work more closely together for the overall benefit of the town. The talk was informative and thought provoking and the Mayor answered member's questions. He invited the President and Members of the Rotary Club to a future meeting of the Town Council to share perspectives and plans for the future. The Mayor's address was well received by those members present and we are looking forward to making a presentation about the Club's activities and plans for the future at a meeting of the Town Council's Policy and Resources Committee on Wednesday 9th November 2022 at 7:00pm.
