Patricia Parker MBE, Founder of Kids for Kids, has been changing the lives of children in Darfur, Sudan since 2001 and this year celebrates 20 years of life-changing work with the charity! Patricia, aged 73, has recently been awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship Award, championed by South Holland Rotary Club, which recognises her substantial contributions to society, humanitarian efforts and charitable works. Patricia is an inspirational speaker who will tell you about her life-saving work and show you pictures that she took during her trips to Darfur of what life is like in the remote villages.
Since 2001 – over 20 years – Kids for Kids has been demonstrating that sustainable development works by providing  Water – Goat Loans – Donkey loans – Chickens for the elderly – Mosquito Nets – Blankets – Jerry Cans – Farm Tools – Household Utensils –  Water Carts – Water Tanks – Midwife Training – Paravet Training – First Aid
Training – Donkey Ambulances – Donkey Carts - Training to run the projects, Healthcare for both humans and animals, Education to give children the best start in life, and care for the Environment.

They build Kindergartens – Health Units – Veterinary Units.  And, long term – plant Trees to turn the desert green.
