HELPING FOOD BANKS

Members of RCMM collecting for One Can Trust Foodbank

Members of our club are collecting food items for the ONE CAN TRUST Foodbank charity.
Kate Picton collected in Grange Road, Chalfont St Peter and Diane Holden obtained 15 bags of food from Moreland Drive, Gerrards Cross and Diane made a further delivery this week.
Emergency food parcels are provided for families in crisis.  One Can Trust is serving the area of High Wycombe, Marlow, and across South Bucks. During the coronavirus pandemic more families find themselves desperate for food and the charity is looking for donations and helpers.  This week they also delivered food to 9 local schools for children who normally have free school meals.
Members of the club are also donating the money they would normally have spent at the weekly breakfast meetings.  So far, members have donated £4200 of their breakfast money to local food banks and further club donations have been made for the One Can Trust to buy essentials as lots of families are suffering. A total of £5750 has been donated to food banks during this pandemic.
Our Street Heroes Diane Holden, Laura Newman and Karin Turner Higgins are still collecting food parcels for the food bank.

Please check their website: www.onecantrust.org.uk

Donations are still welcome.
