Evening casual meeting -

On Thursday 11^th April 2019 President Anne Sampson, welcomed 10 Cub Rotarians to this our casual evening meeting held in the Gilvenbank Hotel lounge, Glenrothes at 5.30pm.

The casual meeting discussed our move to gain charity status, the forthcoming AGM, the Sportsman’s Dinner and the Thrift “Shop” stall which will be positioned outside ARGOS on Saturday11th May 2019. We also discussed being involved at the North Glenrothes Gala on Saturday 1^st June 2019. Wilna Roger mentioned that the awards evening had so far had 60 positive responses.

Our annual Sportsman’s dinner in support of Icon Taekwondo and Rotaries other events was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel last Friday night. The evening was supported by 150 people to listen to compere Willie Allan, Jimmy Nicoll and Scott Gibson. Willie worked his socks off to boost the club funds in the Auction. Excellent meal provided by the Gilvenbank hotel with great service from manager Stephen Guy and his staff. President Anne Sampson thanked the speakers the organisers Iain Haywood and Tracy Thomson, hotel and guests for again supporting the event. Looks as if we will have raised about £4500. Many thanks to you all for your support.

This coming week Thursday 18th April 2019 is the Clubs AGM which will be a lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes meeting at the earlier time of 12.30pm for commencing promptly for a 12.45 pm start.
