Winter Walk

Sun, Feb 24th 2019 at 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Red Myre loch and woodland.
Start is at 2 pm from the car park at Lumquhat Farm.
From the A91 turn north towards Rossie Farm and continue up the hill past Rossie to Lumquhat.
Refreshments afterwards at New Rossie.

The mild weather was probably the catalyst for the good turnout for today's walk in the countryside, even though the visibility could have been better. Here is who was present: Sandy Davis, Margaret & John Ewan, Caroline & Sandy Green, Aileen & Andrew Kennedy, Eric King, Monique & John Sanders, Jeanette & James Storrar together with son Sandy & grandson & Molly the dog. Of course, the lure of a scrumptious tea at Wester Rossie may well have played a part in the good tunrnout, augmented by Marlene & Bill Inglis, who, though they had not worked up an appetite in the accepted sense, nevertheless played rtheir part to the full in appreciating Jeanette' s home cooking.
