Speaker: Joe Bilous - “Nith Inshore Rescue”

Club members please log in for more information.

Nith Inshore Rescue is an independent lifeboat serving the Dumfries area.

We are based in Glencaple, 5 miles south of Dumfries, on the estuary of the River Nith close to where it joins the Solway Firth.

We are one of many independent lifeboats around the coast of Britain who are not part of the RNLI.
Our role is to provide search and rescue services to the upper North East Solway, inland rivers and lochs. Our unpaid, volunteer crew are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
