Paul Northway one of the club members gave a brief report following his attendance at a recent Rotary District information meeting held in Perth.
The requirements and extent of coverage provided by the central Rotary GB&I club insurance had also been explained.
Paul outlined the steps that we must take before, during and planning events and the system he is developing to record these procedures.
Much of what is required he stressed is simple and could be seen as common sense.
All members can assist with this process and should run their plans through him for advice and checking.
As Paul stressed we depend completely on the local communities for the great support and interest in the work that we do.
We must in return ensure that the public is as safe as possible when they are involved in supporting our activities.
