Evening meeting - Quiz Night

On Thursday 26^th April 2018 President Lindsay Roy welcomed 13 Club Rotarians and 39 Rotarians and guests from Buckhaven and Methil, Leven and Dunfermline Carnegie to our monthly evening meeting which was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.

On reception were Peter May with Geoff Sampson, with Wilna Roger running the raffle.

SVP Anne Sampson organised an excellent quiz night supported by question master Linda Ballingall as 11 teams competed in this our first quiz night. The winner of the raffle was Rotarian Claire Robb from the Rotary Club of Buckhaven and Methil and her team the Railwaymen consisting of Glenrothes Rotarians, Murray Grubb, Paul Harris and Peter May also winning the quiz when it went to a tie break of 5 questions against Glenrothes Rotarian Iain Oates team Quiz team Aguelera.

The next meeting will revert back to a lunch time meeting to be held on the 3^rd May 2018 at the Gilvenbank Hotel where members will be given a talk by Coors Tek UK representatives Karen Ross and Colin Macleod. Please meet 12.45pm for starting at 12.55 pm. On reception will be Peter May Wilna Roger and Archie Lawrie.
